[sdiy] What's is this tool called?

I remember a prototyping system out of Calgary Alberta, called 
"Electronics Network Designer", that used the
foam cover to hold the parts in place. The foam was segmented to 
handle the different component heights - just don't stick an 
electrolytic next to an i.c. , the latter would fall out when you 
flipped the system over.

Btw it was a breadboard, and you simply solder everything without 
going to a pcb; the actual board stock  was thin. Very clever,but 
costly and imperfect.

I think the company was called Platform Systems Inc.

it also spelled out END..cool..
