The conductive rubber mats I have experimented with, had nowhere near a low
enough resistance. But maybe these are OK!
Note that with a sheet of conductive material, you can apply voltages at
various points and tap off a 'mix' at points anywhere on the surface.

The resistance seems to be in the right range (1~100 k) and the
material should be durable. There might be some friction, though.
