[sdiy] Ticking noise from Yamaha CP60M piano

OK I just noticed that ticking noise disappears if I disconnect the MIDI cable from the the piano MIDI Out jack... could this be a ground loop ?
But how about the loud hiss noise when engaging an effect loop ?
