Hi list
I'm currently fixing a chorus in a paia string synthesizer, using Rene Schmitz CV BBD clock circuit (http://www.uni-bonn.de/~uzs159/bbd-clock.gif) and i've got a slight problem.
Due to how the paia is built i'm powering it the standard +15V / GND instead of the said -15 / GND, now this works and all but it seems to mess up the CV control. Right now i've got to bias the two input diodes to the positive supply via 3.3K resistor to make the input work, and even then input range is really small. I'm using two circuits since the paia has a dual chorus and on one of the circuits i've gotta use a 4.7K bias resistor instead and the CV range is *really* tiny.
As a side not i should say also that i'm using switchable caps in this circuit so that i can choose to have sort of a glitchy chorus setting if i want to, replacing the two 120pF caps with 1.8nF - this only works on the first clock-circuit and that seems to be tightly interleaved with the whole bias-resistor trouble extravaganza.
Any ideas on what i'm doing wrong?
Karl
