Funnily enough, I'm doing the same.

Although I think my definition of "not exactly small" is a little
different to mine.

The one I'm making is 2.5x2x1.8m in size (gives about a 1.8x1.8x1.6m
cutting size), and is designed to make moulds for cars. Unfortunately, I
have no space at home for it, so it's in a workshop about 1 1/2 hours'
drive away.
