Paul, the reason I asked about the part number for the enclosure is I do 
have a mill. By some synthesizer/diy coincidence, it is made by Roland. :)

If you're interested, shoot me the CAD or a sketch or something and 
we'll see if it is possible. The size of the enclosure is small enough 
for me to get the panel into the machine. One issue that would have to 
be looked at is how best to fix the panel in place so it doesn't shift 
while the work is being done.

Right now all I have are 0.125" end mills and drill bits. The min width 
of a slot would be around 0.130". If you have some time to wait, we 
could see about getting a smaller-diameter bit.
