[sdiy] NPO caps in P08 and Andromeda increases sales?

The P08 uses ceramic caps in the VCF and ceramic caps in the S/H.
The Andromeda does the same.
This design technique are somewhat breaking the rules as to what
some of the long timers here use to say about wich type of caps
to use in a VCF, usually polypropylen or MKT.
I have played the Andromeda acouple of times but not the P08 and
personaly i didnt like the sound at all, there was something strange to it.
So, would the P08 and Andromeda sound different if one would change the
VCF caps and do you think it's (sound wise )a proper design modification?
(yes we all know why they used ceramics, so skip the manufacturing issues).
What would be interesting to know are how much better the specs are
nowdays on NPO etc caps compared to lets say some 5-6 years ago?
If your old enough you know of microphonics of ceramic caps so let's do
a wild speculation, by playing the Andromeda on its keyboard would those
tapping vibration transplant it's way into the ceramic caps and cause
intermodulation distortion? :-)
