I agree. Unfortunately flavor is not something that can be conveyed well via
written description. Maybe it's even too subtle to survive being translated
into a compressed audio format and back. Personally I think it will boil
down to this: there are some number of people who will be interested in
building a JH VCO just because it's a JH VCO, or because the notion of
building a different VCO up from a PCB appeals to them. The question is
whether or not there are enough of these people to make it worthwhile for JH
to produce the boards. Speaking only for myself, I've been thinking lately
that I could use another VCO in my modular, so adding one that's different
from my MOTM VCOs is rather appealing--not because I have anything against
my MOTM VCOs, but I already have five of them so I wouldn't mind introducing
a different flavor to my system. However, I'd first like to have some idea
of the complexity of the project and the availability of the parts. I was
initially very interested in JH's chorus project but after looking at the
PCB layouts I decided that it was a larger project than I'm comfortable
tackling.

So, put me down as a "maybe interested, pending further info."
