[sdiy] -- Pro one clone ? --

I wouldn't recommend a pro-one clone simply because the CEM chips are hard
to obtain and if you are lucky enough to get some they are expensive. There
are some other nice monosynths that can be nicely cloned that do not use
CEMs like the Oberheim SEM or the Moog Rogue or similar. As far as the cpu
(8021) and DAC (AD558) goes you can always make modern parts perform an
equivalent function without affecting the sound. George

Hello,
I am considering a rack unit PRO One clone
I been studying the schematics and i am a little concern on the
availability of the following chips
AD558
cpu 8021
CEM 3340 3320 3310
Are they available ? where ? pricing ?
everything else seems easily available, isn't it ?
Tnx in advance
Regards
