I have a friend that does regular buying trips to china...not synth
stuff. But from what she tells me you can get pretty much anything
reproduced there and generally at very reasonable costs. I'd say you
would need decent minimum numbers to make it worth while but probably
not like the numbers you would need in your own country.

Subject: [sdiy] Reproductions of Vintage Synth Parts (how are they
made?)
I'm wondering how it appears so easy for the Technology Transplant guy
on ebay to make reproductions of vintage synth knobs, buttons,
switches and so on. I was under the impression that getting some
custom plastic part fabricated from scratch was expensive, but he's
got all kinds of stuff. Does anybody know the process a private
individual would have to go through to make a reproduction of a
Jupiter-8 knob in quantity for example? Are the costs reasonable?
Just a few examples of stuff he offers below. I'm tempted to buy his
reproductions over new boring stuff from Mouser/Digikey. And his
prices aren't bad compared to new designs either.
