[sdiy] OT: Anyone ever build a backyard workshop?

Where do you live?
Where I live, we have some of the most mild weather that you can find
anywhere (never very hot, never very cold)...and it seems that such a
structure would be awful uncomfortable...even here.
Even here...I would not want to put any of my equipment in such a
structure...
