  Hey Steve,
  Thats how mine works too! My guess would be this is the most predictable
way for the note priority to work as there is no note stealing. Does the
same in two voice mode. So if you first play a bass note on SEM #1, no
matter what notes or how many you play lead with SEM #2, it won't steal  
the bass
note away unless you release the note. I'm sure the folks at Oberheim  
tried all
of the priority schemes and no note stealing worked best for thier  
polyphonics.
Just a little different for a mono synthesizer.

  So while we are on the subject of the OB two voice, does anyone have the
calibration proceedure for the Mini Sequencer? Several trimmers inside, and
studying the schematic, I think I adjusted mine the best I could. But the
factory proceedure always helps!
