[sdiy] MIDI to CV/Gate APPREGIATOR

Hi,
in my module the µController computes an 6 bit voltage value from the
incoming MIDI note sequence. This is converted to the CV analogue voltage by
a DAC08. This is done for up to 8 channels.
I would realize an appregiator this way:
- Setup a timer interrupt for the note jumps
- Think about a sequence of offsets (octave up or down, stepwise and so on)
- Loop thru your sequence by timer interrupt
- Compute Note values with the offsets
- convert them to analogue CV
This can be done with a monophonic / one channel MIDI2CV/GATE - module.
If you have a polyphonic / multi channel one like my UCVM you can also think
about switching appregiator sequences depending on the number of keys
pressed the same time. I have heard some nice appregiator effects on my
Yamaha CS1 using this effect.
Regards
Carsten

id love to know (as stated on the site) how this could be used for an
appregiator. a lifelong dream of mine is to have an appregiator module of
some kind
any ideas on using this microcontroller or any other means to achieve this?
thanks
