Yes, I know I wasn't addressing the difficult part of the problem, just
pointing out that if you DID get an output at twice the required frequency,
it wouldn't matter what the duty cycle of your 2F signal was.
Certainly, we are dealing with irrational numbers, so the first thing is to
decide on acceptable accuracy.

In an ideal world, you would have a dozen completely independent oscillators
on the chip, each with their own little frequency determining resonator :D
Oh, and just the 'ideal' amount of 1/F noise FM applied..
