Shameless plug:

To put together different kinds of envelopes you might consider my "All-In" 
AD/AR circuit.  The docs for the version bridechamber is getting together 
are now posted here:

Of course, you will need at least two.  The dual layout Christian posted on 
electro-music looks OK.  Just put the ICs in the right way around.  :-)
