[sdiy] using ADSR as just an AR or ADR?

anyone know if it would be possible to use an adsr as an AR or ADR? (specifically the ASM2 adsr?)

I would be using a gate, not a trigger.

maybe i could have the sustain pot inside the synth as a trim pot and just have it set to a low setting?
