Pulldown resistor value isn't critical. I'd use 47K
because I like to have some current but not too much current :^)
I think that 10K is too low a value for a lot of circuits, and maybe
100K is too high. 49.9K is my favorite compromise.
You might find that the cutoff is a little 'choppy'. Probably a re-design
would help. If you can send me a copy of the schematic I might figure
a better mod. One way might be to make some kind of negative supply...
