[sdiy] stripped screw on an 808

i'm trying to swap out a broken switch on my 808 but one of the screws
connecting the main pcb to the front panel is stripped (it's the one
below the "measures autofill in" text). i have some star heads but
none are small enough for this screw. to make matters worse, this
screw is screwed into a hexagonal shaft which appears to be glued to
the circuit board so i can't turn it with pliers from the other side
(i can't really reach it with a pair of pliers anyway).

i'm guessing i need to use a drill to drill the screw out but with the
hex shaft on the other side i'm not sure if that will work. anyone
have any suggestions? this is a tiny screw (and obviously a prized
instrument :-)

thanks,
