Steve at SmallBear DIY guitar fx supplies in ny has them at $US 44, but I
guess what with freight it would be cheaper to gut some broken wah that you
find locally, as most people do.

I bought some Behringer foot controllers with this in mind, but the pot in
them is nothing special(!) and, not much space to work with either.

I guess it all depends what you want to do, if you just want a foot
controller for CV, you could mod a behringer (or anything else).

There is also the problem of whether you want a pedal that will stay where
it is put. Not all foot controllers do.
