[sdiy] is it possible to change the compression ratio of anne570/571?

yeah i know
TH goes into that in his book. all i meant was that compared to the OTHER ne570 sheets i had seen, it was a lot better. what i dont get is why there isnt more info on using variable ratios,etc out there-including in thomas henrys book.
he DOES explain the gain equation and its possible that the equation gives all the details one needs...im not sure. or more likely people were more than happy with a 2:1 ratio as these were being used a lot in compander situations.
anyway...didnt mean to make it sound like that data sheet was a bible or anything :)
