Nope, I did preliminary work on it when I was a co-op student at Texas A&M
and working at Tandy repairing TRS-80s and also some BBD work with Reticon.
I went back to work at Tandy starting in May 1980 and did that, a little
'audio enhancement'
box for TVs (used National Semi's DNR [Dynamic Noise Reduction] IC,) a "get
around
the Orban patent" stereo filed generator combined with "couldn't get around
the patent" BBD
HRTF [head-related transfer function] circuit which later turned into the
patented 'Spacializer'
system for expanding the apparent stereo soundstage.
ANd then I worked on the Moog/Tandy MG-1 synth with Moog designer Rich
Walborn.
Bet you didn't think anyone at Radio Shack knew about all this sort of stuff
:)
