Nope, I did preliminary work on it when I was a co-op student at Texas A&M
and working at Tandy repairing TRS-80s and also some BBD work with Reticon.

I went back to work at Tandy starting in May 1980 and did that, a little 
'audio enhancement'
box for TVs (used National Semi's DNR [Dynamic Noise Reduction] IC,)  a "get 
around
the Orban patent" stereo filed generator combined with "couldn't get around 
the patent" BBD
HRTF [head-related transfer function] circuit which later turned into the 
patented 'Spacializer'
system for expanding the apparent stereo soundstage.

ANd then I worked on the Moog/Tandy MG-1 synth with Moog designer Rich 
Walborn.

Bet you didn't think anyone at Radio Shack knew about all this sort of stuff 
:)
