I've been involved with Bent for the past 5 years. It's a pretty fun  
event and there are some really great workshops. The work at the  
fests (that people bring and install) ranges from embarrassing to  
incredible. I've seen some really inspiring work. I'd say that the  
extreme variety is one of the selling points of the fest. The  
performances are usually on the noisy side but there is also a huge  
amount of variety. Some of the best and worst acts I've seen have  
been at bent.
I just got back from the LA fest and I'm busy getting ready for the  
NY one. LA was pretty low key but consistently high quality. I'm  
really glad I went.

I'll be setting up a booth at the NY fest. Showing off my new  
"product", giving out stickers and selling some merch. I'm also doing  
a raffle for a modified SPeak&Spell.
I'll be at the CASPERELECTRONICS table. I look forward to meeting  
other sdiy guys.... so make sure and stop by and say hi.
