Another issue I'd be curious about is formatting. A lot of the samplers have their own disc format which is different than what a PC or MAC uses.
So a good question would be if the card readers can format media correctly for the sampler and use that format.
I have loaded samples into the sampler, re-did the keymapping and programming and saved them on my ZIP discs. So as long as you can write to the device you should be able to save your programs with data on the media. It'd be a manual process but should work.
