Hi Aaron and all,
My information about A, B and C pots is : it depends on the country :
Europe and USA :
A (or no letter) : linear
B : log
C : anti-log
Japan :
A (or no letter) : log
B : linear
C : anti-log
Do Japanese people have special ears ? ;^)
Have a look there (pages 2 and 4) :
http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/19801.pdf
And if you look at the Roland schematic, upper right corner, the "phones
level" pot is a B-type : this one at least must be a log one...
Now what if your schematic is "made in Japan" ??? ;^)
Hope this helps...
Phil.
