Ben, You're a frigging genius. I never thought of that. I don't have any 
issues with HDs but I've got a Yam sampler. It has both SCSI and IDE. I've 
even got a bunch of adaptors right here.

Mind you, if I want to talk to it, I still have to deal with SCSI so an 
adaptor that allows the crap-tops to talk to a SCSI device would be good. 
Better hit EvilBAbY I guess.

Just for succinctness. Under Linnoox, it would be fairly easy to redefine 
what software talks to what device. Almost everything that ISN'T an IDE 
device is some warped version of a SCSI device anyway.

There are USB/Centronix adaptors out there. I've used a few. I want to get 
round to seeing if I can fool this "skidMARK of the Unicorn" MIDI box to 
talk over one. Since it talks to a printer port. But USB/SCSI? "Mmmm Tricky."
