Hi group-
In another email I sent to the list describing the Gibson Robot guitar teardown, I mentioned I attended the ESC this week. I was also able to attend a one hour Freescale seminar that described the upcoming ToneCore products from Line6. You can, with very modest expense, obtain a very nice audio DSP development hardware platform from Line6. Using the free Freescale Symphony Audio DSP IDE, you can develop your own DSP algorithms/software for use on the ToneCore modules. You can buy experimenter grade modules, load your software into them, and use them in place and with Line6s' modules.
I think someone brought this topic up several months ago. I got a chance to see it in action.
And I got a chance to meet a fellow list member, Byron Jacquot, at this seminar and ESC. It was a pleasure to meet you Byron. Thanks for making the effort to introduce yourself.
JJS
