[sdiy] On cloning, and the Oberheim VCO

My 1975 Motorola book shows a variant of the 741 called the 741S.... this is
a lot faster than the normal 741, and has a S.R. of 10V/uS. Suggested for
use at the output of the 1408 DAC. Whether this was a Motorola-specific
device, or available from several mfrs at the time, I do not know. Maybe it
was used in the SEM VCO???

Some synth schematics from back then show a 741 (S), but this was used to
indicate a normal 741 that was selected for low offset or some other
parameter.
Mike
