Wow... sounds like it would be better to stay away from it. Going  
along the pseudo-Van Halen interest theme, I think I'll steer him  
towards the Oberheim VCF, adding voltage controlled resonance to it (I  
know that's been done a million times, but it's still a good exercise,  
and it's a circuit I understand much much better).
