Driscoll modular stuff that have traces on the rear of the faceplate
and sometimes when a panel flexes it will alter the way the patch
sounds. I'm assuming this is because the outer 1/8 inch of the
faceplate is ground and the connection is sometimes better than others.
The banana jacks on Driscoll modules are all metal too, so fingers or
other conductor will change the patch on touch. Dunno if anyone
still makes all metal banana jacks though. If they are available,
it'd be fun to make a bunch of cables or a snake with all metal
banana jacks at one end, then hang it so the jacks are upside down
and shake it around so random momentary connections are made. If the
cable was the right length you could even make gestures with it or
attach it to your pants and get your Elvis on!
