Y-ellow Humans.
         I'd be wondering if anyone has any inside experience with one of 
the above Behringer boxes by any chance? I have a small opportunity to get 
one if it might solve a problem. But I'm not sure it will.

I found a site with lots of nice porn shots of it. Seems it's full of THAT 
corp 2159 VCA chips. They're supposed to be good aren't they?

That withstanding, I'm more concerned about it's functionality. Software 
and controllability. That kind of thing.

I don't have a data sheet on the 2159 but from what I gather it's a single 
VCA. There are 32 of them and the front panel has 32 sections. Which, I'm 
led to believe is designed to sit across the inserts of a mixer and provide 
some level of automation. What I don't get is the labelling on the sockets. 
"Tip = in/Ring = out" etc. So what is the other send/return socket?

My intention would be to hack the I/Os and bus it to 16 stereo channels. 
Mainly pre-set as a rack mixer. I've already got an automated main console. 
So I'm just wondering what the software is capable of and what you can do 
with MIDI on it.

Seems to be an otherwise dirth of information out there on this box so I'm 
just wondering if anyone has any intimate connection with one.
