[sdiy] one step 909

based on the 909 manual I should be able to adjust the number of  
steps by holding down the "last step" and hitting a main key and  
doing this doesn't work.  Also tried while holding down shift just in  
case but still no luck.

I've never actually programmed a 909 before and am going just based  
on the manual, so user error suggestions are certainly welcomed!
