[sdiy] Low cost PCB house

Hi all,

You may have noticed a number of Chinese PCB fabs appearing on eBay.
I did, and decided to give one a go. This one in fact:

	http://stores.ebay.co.uk/E-Lab-UK

(their "Low Cost 1-2 Layer PCB Manufacture Service").

Based on a run of 10 boards 2" x 3" (approx), double sided with
solder mask and silkscreen I think I will be using them again. Ok,
the boards are not *perfect* (there is a slight misalignment in the
soldermask - but you can only see it under a microscope) but they are
perfect enough for through-hole, and most likely surface mount too.

The price, including delivery (they came by DHL), for the quality is
bloody amazing. For less than 200 sq.in the price is £35 + 18p per
sq.in.

I'll bring one along to this year's synth diy in case anyone is
interested.

Oh, and they sent me 12 boards instead of the 10 I ordered
(overrun). Which was nice.

Cheers,
Neil
