The Stompbox Cookbook gives a good electronic analysis of the various kinds
of stompboxes, and has ci4rcuits & PCBs for all kinds of them.
Boscorelli - who I presume is dead or otherwise troubled - has done a
prodigious amount of work, including CRO screenshots.
The way I would describe his style, is "the opposite of early
Electroharmonix". That is to say, there are MANY components & they seem to
be adapted from standard engineering type circuits.
The book has legendary status because it's the only comprehensive book on
building FX boxes. But, there is nothing there that can't - with some
persistence - be found on the net.
I have a copy, but I wouldn't be depressed if I hadn't, now that I have - if
you follow me ;D
