The Children’s Fine Art program is seeking 
artists/art educators immediately for the 
following fall electronic art classes:

Circuit Bending (New)

Learn electronics, aesthetics, and how to hack 
radios, keyboards, voice recorders, etc., for 
sounds and new functions in a safe and 
exploratory environment. We’ll borrow a page or 
two from Make Magazine™, look at some recent art 
history and learn how to solder. Class will meet 
in a large computer lab, so we’ll have Internet 
access for research, and we can electronically 
document what we discover. Instructor: Staff

Electronic Tinkering (New)

Creative explorations in simple electronics and 
kinetics for art making. We'll put things in

environment. A wonderful variety of materials and 
tools will be used to construct with and explore. 
Class will meet in a large computer lab, so we’ll 
have Internet access for research, and we can

About Children's Fine Arts:

CFA is a program that provides high quality art

at the Junior Museum and Zoo, the Palo Alto Art 
Center, and Mitchell Park Teen Center. It 
provides a solid education in art basics,

crafts as well as specialized workshops including 
Art That Flies, Computer Animation, Tinkering, 
Japanese Brush Painting, and many others. 
Children’s Fine Arts teaches the skills children
