I was just looking at that this morning. I made a list of all IC and
other possibly obsolete components:

MC 1445 L Gain Controlled Amplifier
CA 3030 Op Amp
2N 4143 NPN transistor
2N 4145 PNP transistor
1N 9148 silisium diode
1N 270 germanium diode
1N 5338B Zener diode (5.1V 5w)
1N 5348 Zener diode (9.1V 5w)(might want to double check this....)
74SO5 (Fairchild) inverter/buffer (Sandin lists this as critical, do not
substitute! hmmmm....)
Motorola TCXO (Master Oscillator = 14.318180 MHz)
3268 ADC MOS Decoder
7404 Buffer
9602P Dual Monostable Multivibrator (common?)
8038 VCO (fairly available...)
715 DC DIP Sink
MC 74121P Monostable Multivibrator
CEN 4092 SONY 5 Color Encoder (44pins) (rare!)

The Sony Color Encoder was already out of date when these schemos were
made, and Sandin noted this but never updated the plans. So this would
probably be the biggest roadblock to rebuilding this project.

Suggestions for the others are welcome!

best,
d.
