Hello Everyone,

     First, let me apologize for CC'ing SDIY and AH here, but that
last message will probably pique some interest in the goings on of
this particular order.
     I wanted to give everyone an update on the TDA1022 group buy that
Det3 is coordinating right now. I've got a hard quote for 40pcs right
now at US $6.25 each. I placed a RFQ for this last Thursday when JH
made his first post, figuring that a few extra folks would be
interested. Needless to say, the interest in this group buy went way
beyond what I expected. Currently, there are over 40 people
interested, with about 350 ICs currently needed to satisfy all the
orders (some people are building more than one, want spares, etc).
I'm expecting word back from my supplier tomorrow on whether or not I
can get the remainder of these ICs, and how much it will affect the
price of the chips. The only thing holding up this order is commitment
from my supplier - I won't say it's a go until I have a firm quote in
my hand. Upon them receiving payment, I'll receive the ICs in about 10
days.
     In the case that they can't pick up another 300pcs, I'm still
planning on purchasing the 40pcs, which will be handed out to folks on
the group buy list that emailed me first.
