Pity to cannibalise an instrument like that but realistically,
it's going to end in a landfill anyway.
QTC pills would go well with a pedal board, wouldn't you think ?
Fine control of the pressure might prove challenging, though.
Perhaps placing the pills near the axis, where the travel is small
enough would work.

Some folks have the patience and the talent to compose one part at
a time. Having neither, I prefer to have everything at hand (or
foot) and let the tape roll.
