OK there is a very tiny (not noticeable) amount of blocking.
But the main use of the paint is for nursery walls where you want to be able
to get magnetic letters to stick (you can get 'magnetic' blackboard paint).
Personally, I would just put steel sheet all over the walls, but not
everyone could live with that. Even with an adhesive peter Rabbit frieze
tacked on.
