Beware of small reverb tanks..
They tend to sound very mid range
without bass or high frequencies.
The best way to go IMHO is to use
a standard lenght reverb tank like this

or the TYPE 4 on this site:
http://www.accutronicsreverb.com/prodspec.htm
and fix it horizontaly at the bottom
of the synth case like some dot.com synths do.
3 springs reverb tanks are even better.

Hiya
Does anyone have any sources for locating miniature reverb tanks?
The ones I'm thinking of are those of the Doepfer A-199 -
http://www.doepfer.de/spring_reverb_medium.jpg
But not at 50euro a pop.....!....
There's not much tech details given, so any idea on who manufactures these?
Or similar small lines
- the smallest Accutronics is 9.25" long
Any help appreciated.
Thanks & Best,
Tom
