The Doepfer units are made by a Korean company, called Belton:

There is a reasonable amount of technical info at the site: download the pdf
which contains the technical specs (its nearly 10meg though...):

The Doepfer units are BMN3BB2C1B.
They also have a number of distributors around the world, but when I called
the UK one many years ago, they asked "how many thousand would you like", at
which point it became clear I wasn't going to be able to pick up a few of
various types to experiment with!
