Chipforbrains recently got a lot of positive comments here. I've  
personally bought SSM2044s amongst other things off him, and they're  
fine. SSM2044s are one of the chips of which there was a large stock  
left, since Korg used them in many synths (MonoPoly and Poly6 for a  
start) in the 80s when everything turned digital. This is a good  
thing, since the 2044 is a nice filter!

I can't vouch for synthesizer component store. Anyone else have any  
experience?
