Not only these: R229 R239 R249 are 500Ohm/500kOhm dual, rotary, reverse, 
audio.

Maybe they could be simulated by ultrasonic pulse width modulation switched
resistors under microprocessor control.
Which would have the extra advantage of allowing hands-off control.
