I can't tell you from the technical point of view (ok, I know that it 
requires special potentiometers which prevented, that I can rebuild it). 
But I can tell you, that it sounds unique. I don't know anything else 
which can do such male or female choirs from a simple single VCO saw 
chord like the moog parametric
