1) Is it correct to assume that input to Triple Chorus
Solina Board can also be 12VDC, instead of the 15VDC
(MOTM like)?

No, I'm afrain not. But you can use a cheap 16V ... 18V AC wallwart.

2) Is there a need for 330 Ohm resistors? (They are
mentioned, but with No number, in the BOM).

No. My mistake.

3) Would that be difficult to use regular capacitors
instead of the SMD ones?

No problem if you have a tiny ceramic with leads that can be bent to fit the 
SMD pads.
But believe me, just soldering in a SMD cap is easy!
