It's easy to do that.  But then you still have to do your 
rectification.  You could make a single opamp circuit that shifts and 
amplifies, with a diode at the output to clip the negative signal.  That's 
a bit more involved than my previous suggestion, but would be easier to 
adjust the offset level.
