A 50/50 mix of naptha (lighter fluid) and *real* Hammond oil works, but not
instantly. 2 or 3 days maybe. You might try a dose of pure naptha first just
to speed up the process. The naptha de gums the oil threads and allows oil
to be wicked through them again. And....don't use anything but authentic
Hammond oil....its the only stuff that works.
