This would depend on whether it is mechanically or electronically
broken. The electronics in these things is very simple. Nothing
mind-bending if you now a little transistor basics.

But if you got failures in the mechanical areas then prepare for some
hardcore cuckoo clock work.
I had to take apart the vibrato scanner on mine and it wasn't fun....
Now my tone generator is starting to seize up. I suspect the oil
capillaries have gotten gummed up. I have been putting this off for
some time because it is a filthy oily mess in there.
