[sdiy] Hammond on ebay, broken

This looks very much like my 524C spinet. I'm pretty sure it is one of
the 500 series. They sound terrible - old church-lady sound. The
leslie isn't real. It's the rotating foam drum kind on a separate 10"
speaker. It doesn't sound bad though.
I followed all the mod instructions from this site
http://www.keyboardpartner.de/hammond/t-modifications.htm
for my 524 and now it's really nice. It actually sounds like a real M
series Hammond with the mods. They aren't hard to do either as long as
you tag each and every wire along the way.
