[sdiy] Counterfeit chips

Hello All,

I recently received the following warning from someone who I'd  
contacted trying to get hold of old CEMs:

> Please particularly be aware of a new batch of cem3374 counterfeits  
> that have just been coming out the last month.
> Also, IR3R01, IR3R05, SN76477N.

> The cem3374 all (so far) appear to be date '93 which should be a

> The IR3R01 and IR3R05 can be distinguished because they do not have

I don't want to spread rumours, and obviously I have no other  
confirmation of this, but I'm bringing it to your attention. You  
choose how seriously you take it. It's wise to at least be aware.
