[sdiy] part ID, datasheet? CD8269N

I'm scavagening parts from an old cordless phone - the kind with a
telescoping antenna, and in the base and handset is a part marked: CD8269N
with, I think, a Signetics brand on it. My searches for an ID or a datasheet
for this part were completely fruitless. So I was wondering if anyone here
knows what it is and maybe where I can get a datasheet. Mouser.com didn't
even show an NTE part # for it.

My guess is that it is some sort of compandor chip like the NE570, etc. I
guess this from my past experience with older cordless phones from which I
have gotten NE575's (decent specs), and some DB5101 (I think that's the
part - something like that...)

There is also a part marked SC7090P that I can't ID either...

cheers,
aa
